Clutch failure on used car - should the dealer pay for the repair?
I bought a Rover 75 two weeks ago. The garage told me the car was in good condition and had a new clutch fitted less than 100 miles ago. Since then I’ve covered 400 miles and the clutch has failed.
I have contacted the garage and been told the clutch warranty is only valid for the previous owner of the car. Is this correct? I’ve only had the car 30 days and feel they are trying to rip me off.
