Can you suggest a good hatchback that can carry a set of golf clubs?

I have a 2010 KIA Cee'd that I want to replace with a new or nearly new hatchback. The car must be no more than 1.8 metres wide and have a boot that will take a bag of golf clubs and an electric trolley. I can add about £10,000 to whatever value is put on present vehicle.

When testing the Volkswagen Golf Mk VI it was immediately apparent that a bag of clubs would fit across the load area behind the rear wheel arches into alcoves seemingly designed this this purpose in mind. Width (not including mirrors): 1,786 mm (5’ 10”). 1.4TSI 122 best. Tested here: www.honestjohn.co.uk/road-tests/volkswagen/vw-golf.../

Comfortable and quiet on the move, enjoyable to drive. Nicely trimmed with great attention to detail. 1.4 TSI sweeter to drive than a diesel.
