Which MPV?
Two sets of parents at the local swimming club rave about the flexibility and reliability of their Honda FR-Vs, and both bought new ones when they stopped importing them in 2009. They particularly like the boot space even with six people on-board.
There aren't many low mileage ones around and the best I've found is a 35,000 car for under £10,000, but I'm worried that age may be more of a factor tahn mileage.
Would you recommend a low-mileage, older FR-V or something different and younger. We aim to keep it till the kids go to university in 4 or 5 years.

Yes. Try to find as late an FR-V as you can. But they are becoming like gold dust.
