Buying my first car
What's the best first five door car to buy? I want one that doesn't look too old or unattractive, but isn't extremely expensive to run.

Depends how much money you have. New: Dacia Sandero Abiance 90TCe at £7395. Old: Toyota Yaris 1.0 or 1.3, from around £1500.

Decent combination of ride and handling that might suit some people better than a harder sprung Golf or a Civic. A few inches taller than a Golf of Focus so easier to get in and out.
Unbelievably cheap for this size of car, generous interior space and a big boot, reasonably comfortable to drive.
