Which is the most comfortable 6/7 seater MPV/SUV?
Is there a second hand 6/7 seater MPV/SUV which:
a) Provides a well above average comfortable ride/protection from the lumps, bumps, and holes in most roads.
b) Has a high NCAP rating and good reliability.
c) Has Isofix for toddlers.

A Ford Galaxy is the best. Just make sure it's on 16 inch wheels with 205/60 R16 tyres, not 17 inch or 18 inch wheels with lower profile tyres. Smaller, a Mazda 5 1.6d or 2.0i TS2 on 205/55 R16 tyres has a truly amazing combination of steering, handling, ride and comfort, but only six and a half seats.

Do you still recommend Addison Lee for buying a used Ford Galaxy? Just saw some negative comments on other websites. Is it worth getting a mechanic to check them out? How do you choose one over another?

Good to drive and comfortable. Versatile with foldaway seats. Generally good quality. Diesel automatic option. Plenty of room in all back seats.

Seven seats. Sliding side doors. Compliant suspension is superb on poor road surfaces.
