Ford B-MAX isn't the best for my disability?

Recently you advised that the Ford B-Max would be an ideal car for a Wheelchair user - in your review you state "And the disabled can stash a wheelchair behind themselves without having to summon help." Yes they can but from the driver's seat it is impossible to close the back door!!

I am an active wheelchair user (a paraplegic with a spinal injury at L2) and because of your recommendation I recently went to look at the B-Max as a possibility for my new Mobility car.

I normally stash my wheelchair on the passenger seat, but to do this I need a wide door or the ability to push the driver's seat back. The B-Max's lack of pillar makes this a breeze, but and it is a big but there is no way that from the front seat you can close the back door and Ford do not at this time fit an electronic closer.

So the Ford B-Max is NOT suitable for independent driving.
