Which SUV is low enough for an ageing dog to climb into easily?
We have a Range Rover Sport but our dog is getting older and soon won't be able to climb into the back of the car, as it's quite high. Would you recommend any other large car with easier access? We're getting used to the snob value of the Range Rover and really love the car, and the 4WD is useful in winter as we live on quite a steep hill. Any suggestions?

The Toyota RAV4 and Suzuki Grand Vitara have side opening rear doors and lower load decks than other SUVs. The reason is they were never designed to carry their spare wheels under the load floor. Their spare wheels were slung on the back door, but now they have no spare wheels at all.
