I need a small, narrow automatic car to fit in my small parking space - any suggestions?

I have driven a Toyota Yaris automatic for the last nine years and have been very satisfied with it, but the time has come for a new car. Since getting very used to the Yaris I have moved and my parking space is very small and narrow. I can just about shimmy out at the moment but at seventy may not be able to do so for much longer. I drive about 10,000 miles a year around the Peak District, plus one or two 200-mile motorway journeys a month and would like to buy an automatic car that is one to two years old. I have £10,000 to £11,000. What do you recommend?

Titchy autos include the Hyundai i10 1.2 auto, KIA Picanto 1.2 auto, Suzuki Splash 1.2 auto and Vauxhall Agila 1.2 auto. They're all conventional 4-speed torque converter autos, like your Yaris. There is an item showing the 10 narrowest cars on sale in the UK at www.honestjohn.co.uk.

Surprisingly spacious small five-door city car. Makes best sense with 1.0 petrol engine. Much better than old Agila. Rebadged version of Suzuki Splash.
Great value. High quality, neatly designed interior. Good to drive.
