Is there a way to limit DMF problems in terms of driving techniques?
Is there any way to avoid the dreaded Dual Mass Flywheel problems other than by not buying a diesel? Are they affected by driving style or maintenance? I have a 2006 Focus 2.0TDCI and I'm thinking I'm possibly on borrowed time.

Never let the clutch out in gear at idle revs, always apply some revs, and try to double de-clutch smoothly up and down the box. That's what readers who get 200,000 miles from a DMF do.
