Which small manual car for a tall passenger?
I am 84 years of age and currently drive a Ford Fusion. I wish to find something smaller, manual, preferably a four-door, but would take a two-door if needs be. Budget is in the region of £6000. My husband no longer drives, but as he is six feet tall I need to have some height inside the car for him. We do not drive more than 7000 miles in a year.

I recommend a used Suzuki Splash or the equivalent Vauxhall Agila, or a Hyundai i10 1.2. The 1.0-litre Splash or Agila will be okay for local use, but the i10 must be the 1.2, not the 1.1.

Surprisingly spacious small five-door city car. Makes best sense with 1.0 petrol engine. Much better than old Agila. Rebadged version of Suzuki Splash.
