Our Fiat 500 Abarth is returning better MPG than our 500 TwinAir - should this be happening?
We have just bought a Fiat 500 Abarth for my wife. It's the standard car with leather, opening glass roof and climate control. Nothing else is needed, defintitely not the 17-inch wheels. It is terrific fun.
The only irritation is the turbo boost gauge set on the dashboard. I think that if you specify pre-disposition for Blue&Me Tom Tom this is removed, which we would do if buying again, as the gauge is superfluous. We also have a 500 TwinAir in the family, and, interestingly, the Abarth is showing better mpg.

Definitely 500 fans, then. Yes, others have reported better mpg from the Abarth than from the TwinAir. Test: www.honestjohn.co.uk/road-tests/abarth/abarth-500-.../
