Selling jeep
I am selling my Jeep and someone is coming to view it on Sunday. They are from Zimbabwe and working over here. They want to send the Jeep back to Africa. I have told them I want cash for the vehicle (£2,950) but they want to pay the money direct into my bank account.
Alarm bells are ringing as I am sure I have heard scams about money being paid into the bank, the vehicle being collected and the money then being taken back. Am I right to worry? What is the best way for them to pay for the vehicle that is safe for me?

You are right to worry. Meet them in a bank. Let them withdraw £2,950 and pay it to you in cash. Then deposit that £2,950 into your account via the same bank.
