I want a new car which is easy to pull away in - what do you suggest?
I am contemplating buying a new car as my last one had been extremely difficult for me to drive. It had a 1.2-litre engine but I could not grasp how to move off smoothly. Having frequently over-revved, the poor little engine screamed. Feeling inadequate, I eventually sold it. I would not like to make the same mistake again, so I would like to hire the car I am going to buy so that I can find out whether or not we get on. At present I have a problem getting hold of a Polo Bluemotion. Could you please advise where I can rent it? ]

Your answer probably lies with Hertz Rent2Buy that allows you to hire a car and, if you like it, buy it. See: www.hertzcarsales.com/
But it seems to me that what you really need is a small auto such as a Hyundai i10 1.2 auto, Suzuki Splash 1.2 auto or Vauxhall Agila 1.2 auto rather than any kind of manual.
