What is the best wheel and tyre combination for my Jaguar XK, and where did you get the hat?
First and foremost I just love the hat. If you would not mind letting me know the maker and where you bought it I promise not to ever tell anyone else. I have a 2006 Jaguar (all aluminium) XK4.2 on 19-inch rims fitted with Dunlop 'Sport' 245/40 ZR19 front and 275/35 ZR19 rears. I love it but would ask you to please recommend the best combination of rim diameter and tyre choice for a quieter and more comfortable ride. I know you frequently advise Michelin Primacy 3 and Goodyear Excellence in many applications.

We can buy black hats in the UK. They are made in China. I get the multicoloured ones in Bangkok. But if there was a business in it I would involve my Thai ex-wife who speaks and writes fluent Manadarin, actually lives in China and has business experience buying clothing there wholesale and exporting it.
The smallest size wheels available on the previous XJ were 18-inch. They will obviously fit and give a bit more rubber between rims and road for a slightly more cushioned ride quality at the same tyre circumference.
