What do you think of the Megane Sport Tourer GT Line?

I am considering changing my 2009 Renault Laguna 2.0GT turbo for a Megane Sport Tourer GT Line TCe 115. The 1.2-litre turbo/injection engine seems an interesting and economical development, with no road tax on the car. What are your views on this engine and will it last?

It’s a very sweet, very smooth engine. It's chain cam, so no belt to worry about, but it needs fresh oil at least every 10,000 miles. Here is a test and video of it: www.honestjohn.co.uk/road-tests/renault/megane-201.../

But it isn't tax-free. It's 119g/km so is £30 a year tax. The Focus 1.0 Ecoboost 125PS is also £30 tax, but the Focus 1.0 100PS is £20 tax.
