Which car offers comfortable seating, preferably a Vauxhall?

My wife and I are finding difficulties to get in and out of our 2004 Vauxhall Vectra 1.8 SXI. Seat adjustment is important now I am 75 and my wife will be 70 in October and we are both only 5-feet 3-inches tall. Most of our journeys are local, under ten miles. We are considering buying a six-month-old car. Our budget is up to £13,000. Originally we were thinking of Vauxhall Meriva, however occasionally we travel long distances and would like a comfortable drive. Please can you suggest few cars we need to consider? We have been driving Vauxhalls for the last 24 years and our local dealer provides excellent service.

A Meriva 1.4T is good, but also consider the KIA Venga, Hyundai ix20, Honda Jazz, Toyota Yaris or Toyota Verso S. For the best seats in a small car, try a Mazda 2 or a FIAT 500.
