Which left-hand drive car should we buy to take to Paris?

My husband and I moved to Paris recently and, because of this, our much-loved black 2003 Volkswagen Passat needs to be replaced as it is prohibitively expensive to register on French plates. We would like to replace it with a left-hand drive vehicle, ideally, but not necessarily, French, used for short runs and occasional longer drives. Are you able to advise what car might be best for us?

You would just have to see what an outfit like www.lhdplace.co.uk either had in stock or could get for you. It would not necessarily be the ideal car, but it might be the ideal deal.
