Volkswagen Tiguan or Honda CR-V?
I currently drive a 4-seater 2.0-litre diesel Passat CC but, due to retirement and enhanced grandchild minding together with reduced mileage, I need to have a 5-seater petrol vehicle. At present I am considering a Tiguan SE 1.4 Blue Motion or Honda CR-V 2.0 SE+. I accept the difference between two and four wheel drive but the specs otherwise are similar. However, despite reassurances I am concerned as to whether the Tiguan 1.4 may be underpowered.

There have been some problems with the supercharged and turbocharged 1.4TSI, although not with the turbo-only 1.4TSI 122. The Honda 2.0i engine is not very powerful but is very reliable.
