Thanks to the AA Breakdown Repair Cover, my Isuzu Trooper's oil pressure fault was repaired free of charge.

A short while ago I signed up for The AA Breakdown Repair Cover as I am driving an ageing 2002 Isuzu Trooper that has given me quite a lot of trouble over the years. True to form, it recently broke down again and an AA mechanic was unable to get it running. The car was recovered to an Isuzu dealership in Crawley where a fault with the oil pressure system was found. The total cost of the repairs came to £420, which I paid for in full and subsequently reclaimed from the AA, minus the £25 excess. A cheque was sent to me within two weeks of making the claim. Not bad value I feel, for an annual premium of about £80.
