Where can I check the part-exchange value of my Vauxhall Meriva?

I have a 2006 1.7 Meriva Design Diesel and am now looking for a Meriva SE 1.7 Diesel Automatic as a replacement. Can you give me an idea of the price I should pay for that model and an idea of the part-exchange value on my Meriva Design in very good condition with 42,500 miles on the clock? I seem to remember reading somewhere, possibly in your column, that the new SE has a chain-driven cam. Am I right?

You can check asking prices here more accurately than anywhere else: www.honestjohn.co.uk/used-prices/

It updates daily but on 6 April 2012, for a 2006/06 Meriva 1.7 diesel Design, most adverts are between £4150 and £4740. At a dealer, aim to pay between £3950 and £4950. At a franchised dealer, expect to pay £4550.
