Intermittent warning light on a 2007 Astra

There is a warning light intermittently coming on in my 2007 Astra. Vauxhall garage says it's an inlet manifold problem and would cost £500 to fix.
The car runs normally whether the light is on or off. I am just ignoring it - should I be worried?

If it's swirl flaps, don't ignore it or one of them could brake off, get sucked into the engine and destroy the engine.
