Sell or store while in Afghanistan?

We currently run a 2010 Mondeo 2.0 Titanium (60,000 miles) and a 2009 Fiesta 1.6 Zetec (20,000 miles), both diesel. I am deploying to Afghanistan in July for 6 months. Would it be best to sell the Mondeo now, store (if store how best to do this?) or trade both in for a newer Fiesta?

Sell the Mondeo and trade the Fiesta in for a newer Fiesta. No point in storing a car you don't use.
