Recent C3 has a gearbox issue
My brand new (2 months old) C3 seems to have an intermittent problem in the gearbox. It sticks in neutral, most often between 2nd and 3rd, and the lever will not move more than an inch or so side to side, for several tries, leaving me with no gear. I have been driving over 50 years, and driven many different cars and never come across this before. I believe I am putting the clutch right out. I can't identify any point at which it is likely to happen. Have you heard of this? I don't know whether to contact the dealer or not.

It would appear to me to be a mechanism fault. It is probably cable operated and there is something wrong at the lever end of the cables.
