Extra wheels with winter tyres
We live in South-West France, and the winters can get pretty cold (earlier this year it was -20, although that is exceptional). I would like to get some Winter tyres on a spare set of wheels for my Hyundai Terracan 2007 2.9CRDi auto.
I'm finding it difficult to source a secondhand set of wheels and don't want to have to go to a main dealer. I have been told that wheels from other marques will fit, but I'm not sure. I have the opportunity to buy a set of five Isuzu alloy wheels with BF Goodrich All Terrain tyres, with between 5-8 mm tread.
However, the tyre size is 245/70/16. Mine are 255/65/16. Would that make much of a difference?

There will probably be about an inch difference in radius of the 245/70s compared to the 255/65s so that will lead your speedo to under read your true speed.
