Water in petrol - the filling station is to blame?
My daughter recently re-fuelled with petrol that subsequent to the breakdown of her car turned out to contain 50% water. The filling station concerned referred her to Shell Custmer Services who have said that they will investigate but that this could take a month.
She had her two year old daughter with her when the car broke down and found the whole experience upsetting. She spent £240 having the car's system drained and is worried that the car may suffer long term damage as a resuly of water in the fuel. The car is a two year old Hyundai i10. Any advice would be appreciated.

Immediate small claims track action against the supplying service station for all her costs and losses. Against the service station.
Start with www.moneyclaim.gov.uk NOT against Shell.
