Does my Audi have xenons or not?

I have a dipped beam headlight bulb on my 2009 Audi A6 2.0TDI SE which has blown. How can I tell whether the bulb is Halogen or Xenon?

If the car has a means of adjusting the beam height from the cabin then it has halogen lights. If adjustment is automatic it has Xenon lights.

Most car makers offer xenon headlights as options for several hundred pounds. They do come with other gizmos e.g. turning, self levelling etc.. However one can now buy at reputable high street car part...
