Why does my alarm keep going off?

My alarm has started going off, some times for hours. Any idea what could be causing it?

Possibly a spider crawling across the sensor. Try switching the ventilation to recirculate, closing all the vents, switching the heater to max heat and directing directable vents to the floor. If it is not a spider, that will minimise air disturbance inside the car that sets off the alarm.
