Dealer can't fix the used car I bought
I bought a 13 month old 20,000 mile Peugeot 3008 from Peugeot dealer 4 weeks ago. There were about 7 or 8 issues needing attention when I picked car up including small stuff like needing new wiper blades and biggies like air con compressor needing replacement, car pulling sharply to the left and crunchy gearbox.
Dealer has had it back for 2 single days and another 8 day stretch. I literally gave a list of the things needing addressed. 5 of the 8 now fixed, but still pulling sharply to left (even after they have sent it out to four wheel alignment specialist), gear change still crunchy and transmission whiny (they said they had 'adjusted' it, but I should keep my eye on it and let them know if I have any more concerns!) and disconcerting rattle at idle (they said this was due to faulty air con compressor which has now been replaced but rattle still exists).
They now want me to take it back in next week for the Master Technician to have a look. Thing is, whilst I really like the car in some ways, I can't afford the time to keep taking it back and forward to the dealer, especially if they're not getting any closer to fixing it - It's been in more in the four weeks I've had it than my previous Zafira was in 3 years. The left pull and the gearbox are the ones they seem unable (or unwilling) to fix.
Any advice on what I should do (give them another go, try somewhere else and send them the bill, ask for replacement, simply reject it because it was faulty before/when they sold it - they even stamped the book to say they'd serviced it day before I got it)?
Or even any idea on what might cause it to steer left going forwards but steer right going backwards - I can literally do a 12 point turn without touching the wheel.

You either reject it or you let them carry on trying to fix it. Your rights are here: www.honestjohn.co.uk/faq/consumer-rights/
