A car for £5000-6000. What do you suggest?
I am looking to buy a small second hand car, budget up to £6000. I have test driven a petrol Mazda 2 1.5 Sport. I have also considered the 2006 onwards Honda Civic 1.8 however for my budget I would be looking at an older / higher mileage one than the Mazda 2, and the Mazda is cheaper to run.
I guess with Honda's excellent reliability a slightly older Civic will be little different to a newer Mazda 2?
I do about 6000 miles a year mixture of motorways and urban driving, is there anything else I should be considering?

You will get a Mazda 2 1.3TS2, which is actually a better package than the 1.5. It's higher geared, uses less fuel, and simply feels better to drive.
