Switching to smaller wheels in a Dodge Nitro
My Dodge Nitro is shod with 245/50/20 tyres but at £300 per tyre I'd like to put a different size of wheel and tyre to make it more cost effective. What size can I downsize to without impacting the ABS or handling?

We simply son't know which wheels will clear the brakes and which tyres will give the same rolling circumference. But as a point of reference (same manufacturer), the current Grand Cherokee has 265/50 R20s on the Overland and 265/60 R18 on the Limited.
