Complying with overseas forces rules

I am posted to Germany and as a non-temporary visitor, apparently I must change headlights to comply with British Forces Germany rules (not German law). This is to prevent dazzling other drivers when driving RHD in right hand traffic. Using the tourist switch/lever to lower beam is not accepted.

Where can I get reasonably priced LHD lights as Audi want 869 per light ! The rear fog light must also be on the left rear, not on the right as in UK but there is no spare slot I can see - can you swap the reverse light and fog light ? How do I check which correct part to buy especially if I buy from Germany/EU ?

As the car is not worth spending over £1000 on changing the lights for 2 years, I would offroad in the UK or sell (really would hate that).

From a German scrapyard/parts specialist. Someone from BAOR can advise.
