A car with room for three child seats
We currently own a Renault Scenic Grand, 2.0l petrol Automatic 55 plate
We would like to buy and younger, more economical car but are limited by need to put 3 child seats (2 high back, 1 booster) for our 3 kids (6yrs and twin 3yrs). We want them all in back row so are happy to go for a 5 seater car - but unless it has 3 individual seats they wont fit!
We ideally would like a manual, diesel (but petrol ok) 1.6 or 1.8, 2010 or newer. Our current car has served us well, but is expensive to run and more powerful than we need (6,000 local miles per yr). We LOVE Fords so are concentrating our search on the Cmax, Cmax grand and Smax (bit too big and large engine size). Are we missing any other models you think worth considering? We have read poor reviews on Peugeot and Citroen, Nissan dont make anything big enough without going into 4x4 (which will have higher costs). We know nothing about toyota and think Hondas are out of our budget (circa £13K).
Today we test drove a Cmax Grand Titanium special demo model (ie all singing/dancing) which we loved. This is a 60 plate, 1.6L diesel manual and lovely to drive. On at £12999. This seems a v good price (too good?) although mileage is 38,000. Would you agree?
Any thoughts on other models not on our radar currently would be great, plus what you think of the car we like - our only concern is that we want it to last a long time and meet our needs (growing children). Many Thanks

The only car with this feature is the Peugeot 308SW. Otherwise you are into MPVs. Citroen C4 Picasso, Peugeot 5008, Ford S Max, etc. C Max, not wide enough.
