Farm tracks and low profile tyres
Have a neighbour with an A class Mercedes-Benz with low profile tyres fitted. We all live down a 250metre limestone farm road - my family think the road condition is fine (driving a Ford Transit and C3 Citroen) - we have had no suspension repairs in 5 years. The neighbour thinks the road condition is unacceptable.
My question is - would low profile tyres have a significant impact on ride quality when driving slowly (less than 10-15mph) down a made farm road. Would you expect to have suspension problems on vehicle driven slowly on such a road (I would guess indentations around 25mm deep and 50mm maximum)

Yes. The small distance between the wheel rims and the road make the tyres and wheels very vulnerable to damage as well as giving a hard and unpleasant ride.
