Selling my car - is it worth spending out on paintwork repair?
I'm looking to sell my Alfa Romeo 147 1.6 Lusso (2006, 3dr, 25,000) in the next couple of months and would appreciate your advice on whether its worth forking out on paint/body work repair? Although the car has been lovingly cared for since new and could be described as in great condition inside and out, there is still general wear and tear chips/scratches etc.
I've had a quote from Chipsaway for £180 which i think is reasonable and have previously been impressed with their work.
I'm looking to sell privately. Will having these repairs carried out make it easier to sell and allow me to achieve a higher price? I'm looking at a price of £4200.

A well presented car sells itself when selling privately, so yes. Private buyers always go for clean cars. Also a good tip to clean the windows.
