Can't keep my Avensis straight on the motorway

2009 Avensis Tourer will not keep straight line on motorway. Centring very variable. Have Hunter checked 4 wheel alignment as you recommended (very good service). All OK. But problem persists.

I see that the Toyota Corolla has a history of similar problems with 2009 onwards, mainly fixed by replacing the EPS computer. Is the Avensis showing the same problems?

The Toyota dealer denies all knowledge of a problem. Any idea what to do next? It is serious enough to make the car unpleasant to drive. Surely they weren't manufactured like that.

The next thing to do is to swap the tyres around. Front N/S with rear O/S, and front O/S with rear N/S. If that doesn't cure it, then there may be an ESP problem.
