Intermittent shuddering on acceleration in my Vectra

My 2-litre Vectra auto shudders when pulling away, then goes back to normal. This is starting to happen more frequently.

I have changed the plugs and leads but it's still the same. Someone said it might be the air flow meter, could this be possible?

It happens more when I accelerate and it the car has started to stall when on tickover.

You don't say what year your car is, but if it is fitted with a Bosch ECT (engine coolant temp) sensor, then it maybe that you have a fault in the harness (of the ECT sensor), which could have a poor connection at the multi plug due to vibration. This is a known fault on Vauxhalls.

Far better than previous Vectra. Now with decent handling and an excellent ride. Plenty of safety kit. Roomy in the front. Big boot. Good looks.
