SEAT Leon Ecomotive fuel economy
I have had a Leon Ecomotive for a few month and i'm averaging 42mpg. SEAT can't see the problem and as far as they are concerned it's working perfectly but the mpg is 33 to 50% lower then their published figures. What options do I have because SEAT are just telling me to wait and see if gets better.

The published figure is an EC lab test figure and bears no relation to what drivers can expect in real life. But unless all your driving is urban you should be getting 45 - 55mpg.
www.honestjohn.co.uk/RealMpg/Results?manufacturer=...t shows a real average of 49.7mpg.
