Buying a used Clio Sport Tourer
I want to buy a 2008/9 Clio Sport Tourer. Either a 1.2 TCe or 1.5 dCi86 if the price is right. What common problems do I need to look for with these engines? All the TCe's have a mayo like substance in the oil filler cap when cold. Is this a trait of this engine?

Very few sold. Hardly ever see them on the road. Never in the trade. But a 2008/9 diesel should be before they started fitting diesel particulate filters, so no problems on that score. The old 1.2 TCe is not the same as the new 1.2 TCe in the Megane.
