Fiesta diesel or petrol?
I am looking to buy a nearly new Fiesta. For around 20 weeks of the year I will be doing a school run that will amount to 350 miles a week. The majority of my other miles will be fairly local with my work commute when not doing the school run amounting to 30 miles a week. This will be my only car so it will also need to do any longer trips for holidays etc but these should be few and far between.
I am currently looking at the 1.6 engines and can't decide whether I would be better with petrol or diesel.

You can justify a diesel and thankfully, Ford does not fit the Fiesta diesel with a dual mass flywheel so diesel probably makes sense.
