Peugeot 307 anti pollution fault

I have an 04 Peugeot 307 petrol. When the car is cold, it judders as though there is not enough fuel going through. If the engine has not warmed up by the time I stop, the engine management light comes on and flashes, displaying an antipolution fault. If I continue driving, this then changes to the engine light staying on and the display changing to catalytic convertor fault. It failed the MOT back in January for emissions which meant I had the catalytic convertor replaced, together with the front 02 sensor.

I had already had the the rear 02 sensor replaced about a year ago. The light still comes on when cold! I have changed the spark plugs as well hoping this would fix the problem, but unfortunately not. Any ideas on what else this could be? I cannot afford to spend another £300 on the car trying to fix a problem which no garage seems to be able to find!!

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Jayne

Hello Jayne. So have you had a proper diagnostic check carried out on the engine, and if so what code/s were showing, it should come up with P ---- 4 numbers and then that code should relate to the problem ie one of the many sensors that are fitted. If no diagnostic check yet carried out would suggest that you get one from a garage that knows how to carry out a full/correct diagnostic check.
Over and above that it could well be your ECT (engine coolant temp) sensor or the IAT (intake air temp) sensor, but as previous it may be beneficial to have the diagnostic done first.
