Vibrating Jaguar S-Type transmission
I have a Jaguar S-Type 2.7 Diesel Automatic, 05-plate with 77k miles.
There is a shaking/vibration from the transmission when it is accelerating between 40 to 50 MPH.
Once the car has reached between 50 to 60 MPH this disappears. This is more apparent when climbing hills.
The dealer suggested that it was contamination of the oil in the gearbox but this has been sent to Jaguar's test lab and has proved negative. Does anybody have any suggestions?

Could be due to a failed ATF heat exchanger in the radiator. Same problem that affects Mercedes.
