How do average speed cameras work?
For my sons information can you confirm that average speed cameras take the average speed done between two cameras and all the way along where they are and NOT the speed you do as you pass them in turn.

Yes, the average. Not the speed you are doing when you pass them. If you've been doing 60 - 70 between cameras in a 50 gauntlet, slowing to 45 just before a set of cameras will not decrease your average sufficiently.
