Advice on Golf 1.4 TSI 122 / 160PS - can you help?
I would like to know whether Golf the 1.4 TSI engines is a sound investment as a second hand purchase? They have relatively low second hand costs, but being turbo and supercharged is the engine unlikely to trouble free outside of the warranty? I am looking at the 160PS version.

The 122 turbo only seems to be okay. The higher output 1.4 TSIs with supercharger and turbocharger can overfuel, leading to piston trouble.
