Downsizing from a Golf
We have decided that it is time to change our Golf 1.9 TDI - a great car. We have a budget of around £10K; we do about 15K miles a year, very little of which is urban.
Other than another Golf, we thought we might look at the Polo range; which model would you advise? Alternatively, is there a better vehicle that would suit our needs as wandering pensioners?

Take a look at a SEAT Ibiza ST. The Ibiza range gets refreshed in a couple of months, and is both better looking and better value than a Polo, yet the same car underneath, even built in the same country (Pamplona v/s Martorell).
