What potential problems with an Avensis CVT?
I am thinking of buying a 2010 Avensis tourer 1.8L with CVT gearbox.
Having browsed your reviews and other sites I can not find a long term reliability review for the Toyota CVT.
Some say CVTs are good for 60k miles but I would hope to get 100k miles out of one. What can go wrong, are there belts that need changing and how expensive would it be?

Never heard of any problems with this particular CVT yet. But they do usually require a change of fluid every 2 - 3 years. Delightful box to use. Transforms the Verso and Avensis.
