Honda happiness
Following JF of Eastbourne’s email about the Honda Jazz, I bought a second hand CVT recently and have managed to push the mpg up to 51.5 average. I previously ran a Mitsubishi Colt DI-D auto that did 50 mpg on diesel. Now I have a better mpg and less cost because the Jazz is petrol. The autobox is seamless when changing, no lurching. Moves quickly if I need it but purrs along at 60-65mph on motorways. All in all a brilliant car in many ways.

Yes, always was. And Jazz ride, steering and handling are now much improved. The versatility of the interior remains unbeaten, except by the bigger Civic. And I got 45mpg out of a Civic 1.8 petrol model.
