The catch is court

My husband saw an article by you in the Telegraph a little while ago about a scam involving insurance companies and car hire costs whilst your car is being repaired. We are experiencing this with SAGA (Acromas) who passed me onto Claimfast as I was at no fault when a driver drove into the back of my car whilst I was stationary. It looks like I might now have to appear in court to claim back the car hire costs when SAGA provided me a car during the time my car was being repaired, which SAGA says I am responsible for. The third party insurer is refusing to pay these. Has anyone else written to you with the same experience?

Hundreds. And even more frequently I have advised readers never to sign for a credit hire car. But unless insurers refuse to pay these outrageous charges we cannot get rid of the charlatans responsible, who are the main reason for insurance premium rises. There's a FAQ about this here: www.honestjohn.co.uk/faq/credit-hire-1/
