Should I buy an ex-demo BMW X3 for full list price or wait until next year for a brand new one?
Can you advise me on an offer my local BMW main dealer has made me please? I am interested in the new X3 and he is quoting a delivery date of next March. Alternatively, he is offering me his demonstrator vehicle this month when he predicts it will have around 7,000 miles on the clock at full list price. My first reaction is to "tell him where to go," but he insists it is a good deal given the current supply and demand situation on X3s. What do you think?

Doesn't surprise me. Ignoring all the enthusiasm for the Range Rover Evoque for which there are apparently 20,000 orders already, it’s the best SUV you can buy at any price. I tried to put AM in touch with another reader who had bought an F25 X3 then found it lacked the towing capability he needed, but that reader had already p/xd his X3 for an ML. At least one leasing outfit has been offering F25 X3s at discounts but, even assuming they can actually get the car, it would mean registering it to the fleet for six months before the buyer could become the registered keeper, which I don’t recommend.
