Is £7995 a good price to pay for this 2004 Audi A3 TDI Sport?

I own a 52-reg Peugeot 307 Hdi Rapier with 120,000 miles on the clock. I am looking to upgrade and have seen a few cars. The one I am looking at is a 2004 54-reg Audi A3 1.9 TDI Sport 6-speed with 63,000 on the clock. Full details are FSH, ABS, electric front windows, remote control central locking, CD player and alloy wheels. It is priced at £7,995. Is this a good deal?

A3s are all priced at a premium by the market for the status they confer. The price is 25 per cent status, 75 per cent car. Book retail for this one at 62,000 miles is £7,975 and trade book £6,075, so it isn't overpriced for a retail sale. But a SEAT Leon is basically the same thing for around two thirds of the money.
