Winter takes all

I can't believe how much better winter tyres are. This year I don't have to dig out the drive so I can get the car off the road and into the garage - it just goes straight in up the steep and narrow slope. And meeting a car on an untreated road this morning was no problem. I just backed down and then started off up the hill as soon as he'd passed. That would have been impossible on my normal tyres. It has made such a huge difference to my confidence - though I'm still keeping the speed down, obviously. You are my winter hero. Thank you.

Excellent. Next winter even more Brits will have the foresight to buy their winter wheels and tyres in the Summer, when supplies are plentiful and before the next freeze hits. (It's all due to global cooling because we aren't using our cars enough.)
